The observer effect
A state of a system remains undefined unless it's observed. In quantum mechanics observation collapses the wavefunction, where the wavefunction represents the incompleteness in our knowledge of the data of the observable. In Schrodinger's cat experiment we saw how this observable at the micro level affects the states at the macro level. In that sense, our universe is merely the outcome of our observation. This is the Observer effect.
